Saginaw Street, the establishment has served as a local destination since the 1980s, formerly operating as Jim's Garage and Liquor Lounge before becoming Kew's Korner in 2013. In July 2025, Kew's Korner entered an exciting new chapter under the ownership of Tory Vancobb and his team, who are committed to preserving the establishment's legacy while building upon it for future generations.
"Kew's Korner Pub is my vision for what a neighborhood gathering place should be: welcoming, comfortable, inclusive, and rooted in community," says owner Tory Vancobb. "As a career-long hospitality professional, I wanted to create the kind of space where I would want to spend my time. At Kew's, we focus on great service, excellent cocktails, great vibes, and making people feel at home the moment they walk through the door. My vision is to create more than a nightlife spot—it's a community gathering place built on connection, care, good drinks, great vibes, and a true sense of belonging."
